Our story...

We are an independent, online record store based in Stoke-on-Trent. With an eclectic taste in music, we aim to have something for everyone, from easy listening, reggae, all the way to ACDC.

A few words from the owner:

"Music has always played a huge part in my life and has always been with me wherever I may be. I can still remember back to my University days listening to Elgar's "Enigma Variations", and Beethoven's Piano Concertos 4 & 5 "Emperor".

As I have grown and experienced new things my music taste has changed with me. From back in the 80's participating in MissEast Anglia to "Pull Up To The Bumper" by Grace Jones. To my time as an Aerobics Instructor, performing high kicks to "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire.

I am fortunate to have family members who have shared their musical influences with me and I grew up with Soca and Reggae, Jazz and Blues, Easy Listening crooners as well as Abba, Fleetwood Mac, Prince and Led Zeppelin blasting out of the speakers.  My personal obsession when I was at school was Madness.  I loved The Specials, Bad Manners and The Darts.  I was a late-comer to Oasis and Blur; preferring Radiohead, Gangsta Rap music, and Macy Gray.

These days my kids have taken over the CD player in the car with Sam Smith, Ellie Goulding, Bruno Mars and Jason Derulo and I find myself singing along.  I hope this gives the impression that I love most kinds of music and there is usually music on, in some format, in the house.  I have worked in a few different places in my life.  However, the bottom line is that I am a sociable person. I am interested in people and I want to know what they have to say about music"
